Half-Circle Fill-in

This fill-in is so easy, anyone can do it in about an hour - or less! You don't even need a sewing machine. All you need is about 3/4 yard of nice drapey material that goes with your dress, and scissors, needle and thread.

This easy fix can look very different, just depending on how you drape the cloth. This is where the fun and creativity come in, because you can arrange the fabric just as you wish! Here are some examples of various ways to do it:
 
Put the cloth so it's about even in the front and back:

Put the cloth so it's higher in the front, and lower in the back:

Arrange the cloth so it comes to a point instead of going straight down, or arrange it so it's pretty square:

When you fold the circle over, fold it unevenly, then drape. This creates a tiered effect.
(Note: this only works if both sides of the material are pretty):
