ModestProm.com's Custom Gown Kit lets you create gorgeous gowns that fit you perfectly! That's because the kit lets you create beautiful formal dress patterns based on your measurements and body proportions!  It's far easier (and more fool-proof) than fitting a traditional pattern. You can even have a dressmaker make the dress!

This is how it works. ModestProm.com's Custom Gown Kit consists of two parts: 1) Click & Sew pattern-drafting software (by Wild Ginger, Inc.) for a basic dress, and 2) ModestProm.com's instructions for using this software to produce a formal dress pattern. Each part is explained next.

2) ModestProm.com's instructions for creating a formal gown. The Click & Sew software lets you create many basic dress styles. However, you will need to make a few minor style modifications in order to produce a formal gown pattern.

We tell you exactly how to use Click & Sew to create a pattern for the formal gown style shown in the pictures. ModestProm.com's step-by-step instructions guide you through the entire process of creating the pattern with Click & Sew, and tell you how to sew your dress too. Should you have any questions, answers are just an email away!

1) Click & Sew pattern-drafting software for a basic dress. This software lets you create dress patterns that are custom-fit to your measurements. You simply install the software and enter a series of 17 measurements which tell the software exactly how your body is proportioned. (This is really easy and only takes about 5 - 10 minutes.)

Once the software knows your measurements, you design your dress by choosing various style options, such as a particular neckline and sleeve type. With your measurements and style choices entered, the software then creates a custom pattern just for you. Next, you print the pattern on sheets of 8.5 x 11 paper, and tape the sheets of paper together to create the final full-size pattern pieces.

Price. The ModestProm.com Custom Gown Kit costs $19.95 + $2.00 shipping/handling, for a total of $21.95. It is an excellent value, because it can be used to create as many dress patterns as you like!
