Instructions:
V-Neck 1. Follow the General Instructions for the ModestProm Easy Gown to make the dress. Cut your dress out using the Jewel neckline. 2. Hem the neckline as usual. 3. After you have finished the dress, find the center front of the neckline and make 3 small (about 1/4") pleats. Sew the pleats down to create the V-neck. |

Neck Drape Instructions 1. To make the neck drape, cut a rectangle of fabric X by X. 2. Sew the rectangle together on the open end. Sew at an angle, starting in about 3" on the top and tapering out to about 1/4" in the bottom. Trim the excess triangle of fabric, then sew the same way at the fold on the other side. 3. Drape the rectangle around your neck, matching one seam to the center front and one to the center back. Tack down at front and shoulders, letting hang down loose at the back. |
