Instructions: Square Neck with Full Gathers 1. Follow the General Instructions for the ModestProm Easy Gown to make the dress. Cut your dress out using the Square neckline. 2. Hem the neckline as usual. 3. After you have finished the dress, stitch along the shoulder seam, from the neckline to the bottom of the sleeve. Then pull up to gather slightly. Secure thread ends carefully. 4. Now gather at the neckline. Stitch in a line parallel to the shoulder seam, from just above the bottom of the square neckline (where the neckline curves), all the way over to the sleeve. Then pull up to gather slightly. Secure thread ends carefully. |
